What I Wore: Rainy Weekend Errands

Hello there and happy Monday!  It was a very rainy weekend full of Christmas festivities and last-minute shopping.(I even saw Santa.lol) I will never understand how a weekend can go by so quickly and you never end up getting everything done. One of my favorite parts of living in a small community is the traditions.  Whether it be Santa riding in on the fire truck to signify the end of the parade or the tradition of going and getting a cup of coffee after the parade it is these simple things that you find yourself looking forward to year in and year out.

Here is what I wore to my small town Christmas parade and open house.  I have been loving vests right now.  They are to me one of the easiest ways to add something to an outfit when you’re not quite sure what it needs. This is a vest (similar here) I picked up last year and have been getting a lot of use from.  Top is from Old Navy as well as the jeans.  Booties are a recent find from Kohl’s.  I had been on the hunt for a pair of beige booties and then I found these!  Hopefully you had a great weekend and a short Monday!

What are your favorite Christmas Traditions?
